Erica and Carter have been friendos since middle school when they first met and bonded over Percy Jackson and Meryl Streep's performance of "The Winner Takes it All" in the iconic Mamma Mia film. In 2013, they screamed and laughed and cried when Cupid forcibly outed Nico. In 2014, Carter spoiled the ending of Blood of Olympus for Erica, owing her a blood favor ever since. In May of 2020, after comfort bingeing the original series and desperately needing an outlet to vent about the most important ship in the world, Erica roped Carter into creating this Percabeth podcast, and they lived happily ever after.
